The coating on ULY coated fabrics consists of hydrophobic compounds that create a molecular barrier, ensuring water beads up and rolls off the surface rather than soaking into the fabric. In this video, we show that water slides on ULY-coated fabrics but never wets the fabric, and also shows that ULY-coated fabrics can quickly stay dry after cleaning. ULY coated fabrics can be seen in daily life from outdoor equipment, clothing design and even the medical industry.
